Description released for Paddock Lake bank robbery suspect

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department has released a description and surveillance photos of a man who robbed a bank in Paddock Lake Monday afternoon.

A Sheriff’s Department report says that a man entered the Community State Bank at Highways 50 and 75/83 at about 2:30 p.m. and gave a teller a note saying he had a gun. He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a small silver car across Highway 75 and into the parking lot of a neighboring gas station/convenience store before exiting that lot and heading west on Highway 50.

A sheriff’s deputy determined the direction of the flight by watching surveillance video from the bank and the gas station/convenience store.

There were no injuries. The suspect still is at large.

A bulletin released by the Sheriff’s Department Detective Bureau describes the suspect as: white male, about 5’10” to 6’0” in height and weighing about 225-260 pounds with  blond or light brown hair and an approximate age of 18-25. Eye color is unknown.

The suspect’s car is is believed to be a 2001 to 2003 silver Hyundai Elantra with Illinois plates number unknown but something similar to 2879339. It also may have a defective right rear brake light.
