At 4:55 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue units are back on the scene of a grass fire that burned numerous acres of land on the east side of Paddock Lake Sunday.
Right now, anyway, today’s fire is considerably smaller, and is being attacked by grass rigs and personnel with fire brooms. Personnel on the scene estimated the fire to be about 15 feet by 15 feet.
UPDATE 4:59 p.m. — Command at the scene says there should be sufficient equipment at the scene.
