The National Weather Service has extended a heat advisory issued for Kenosha County until 10 p.m. Friday.
The original advisory issued Monday was to expire Tuesday at 10 p.m.
The forecast for the next few days calls for high temperatures of 99 Wednesday, 101 on Thursday and 97 on Friday.
There is no better than a 20 percent chance for rain or thunderstorms during that period.
