Students in Travis Wetzel’s Advanced Website Design class created websites for a new business, Genoa Physical Therapy of Genoa City, WI.

Jesse Kammer (class of 2012) created the winning website which you can see at www.GenoaPT.com. The top three designs also include websites of Erika Ekornaas and Brandon Ostermann.

The website is a product of a project in the Advanced Website Design course led by instructor Wetzel. In the beginning of this real-world experience, all of the students in the class met with Nicholas Batson, their client. The students each designed their own versions of what could be the next website for Batson and Genoa Physical Therapy. Batson met again with all of the students to check the progress of each design and narrowed the competition to three finalists.

Batson recently opened the doors of Genoa Physical Therapy located at 112 Elizabeth Lane, Unit C, Genoa City, WI. Genoa Physical Therapy is dedicated to developing, maintaining or restoring maximum movement and functional ability for one’s lifetime.

Wetzel plans to continue this class project as an opportunity to give students real web design experience and build relationships with community businesses.
