Units responding for investigation in Silver Lake

At 9:43 p.m., Silver Lake Fire Department and Silver Lake Rescue units are responding to a call for an investigation at Cogswell Drive and Lake Street, Silver Lake.

Dispatch reports that a caller reported a garbage can on fire.

UPDATE 9:44 p.m. — Police officer says the fire is in a burn barrel and is unattended. Engine will respond; rescue will stay in quarters.

UPDATE 9:47 p.m. — Fire personnel on scene reports a overflowing burn barrel with flames coming out of the top.
