The Salem School Board took some time at its monthly meeting tonight to recognize the efforts of the Salem Booster Club.
The Booster Club stepped up to fund and operate sports and other extracurriculars in the wake of failed referendums and resulting budget cuts in 2009.

At the conclusion of the presentation, Niccolai said he would like to see the school resume responsibilities for sports and extracurriculars sometime in the future.
