The Silver Lake Citizens for Growth has a new venture for Silver Lake this year, a Farmer’s Market.

It will be held on the 1st & 3rd Friday beginning on June 22 from 4 pm to 7 pm in Schmalfeldt Park. The only exception is that during the Fireman’s Festival over 4th of July weekend, it will be held as a “Street Sale” on Saturday.

Vendors are needed. You don’t need to sell produce or food, you can sell your crafts, your homemade jelly or salsa (please contact the managers for instructions if you are selling homemade food products). The cost is $10 a week, and subject to availability with seasonal vendors having priority, $50 for half the season, and $50 if you book the entire season. There are 10 dates, so your best value is the seasonal choice with each week discounted to $5. There is plenty of space for your venture, parking for our vendors and ample parking for patrons.

The Friday dates for the season are: June 22, July 20, Aug. 3, Aug. 17, Aug. 31, Sept. 7, Sept. 21, Oct. 5, and Oct. 19; the Saturday date is July 7 as a Street Sale

Please contact Jo Lasdasky, if you are interested in being a vendor at 262-889-4313.
