Trevor Fire and Salem rescue are called to Highway SA and 264th ave for a brush fire in a drainage ditch. A passerby noticed that a fire was burning in the ditch. Nobody appeared to be around it and no structures in the vicinity. A brush truck is being dispatched to extinguish the fire before it travels to the heavily wooded area nearby. Salem Rescue blocking off 264th ave until the fire is under control.
7:42 p.m -update: road blocked to traffic at 133rd and 264th Ave
7:44 -update: fire department will reopen the road and treat the fire as a controlled burn.
