If you’re in the Twin Lakes area and have a taste for a Subway sandwich you’re in luck.
The Twin Lakes Subway location at 110 S. Lake Ave. has re-opened this week.
If you are a Subway regular as you go about your travels in Western Kenosha County it’s likely you will find familiar friendly faces at the Twin Lakes store in new owners Erica Feeney and Robyn Sarbacker — also known as the Sub Sisters.
The sisters have been the owners of the Paddock Lake Subway on Highway 50 for 16 years. The recent availability of the Twin Lakes store allowed Feeney and Sarbacker to realize an ambition they have had for a while now.
“We’ve always wanted to expand,” Sarbacker said.
Though they just took ownership of the Twin lakes Subway recently and opened it again for customers this week, Feeney has a longer history with the location. While working for another Subway owner, Feeney helped open the Twin Lakes store in 1992.
If you don’t know Sarbacker and Feeney from seeing them behind a Subway counter, perhaps you will know them from some other walk of life. They have lived in the area their whole lives.
While the Twin Lakes Subway will offer a full Subway menu with all of your favorites, the sisters like to think there is something special about their locations.
” Just being in our stores and actually working with the customers gives our Subway that little extra touch,” Feeney said.
The Twin Lakes Subway will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The phone number is 877-2888.
