A retirement celebration for Thomas Flowers, a longtime Salem firefighter/EMT, will be held on Saturday, May 19, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Twin Oaks Country Inn, 30807 114 th Street, Wilmot.
Flowers retirement comes after forty-one years serving the Salem community in emergency services. The Salem Town Board passed a resolution honoring Flowers at its meeting Monday night.
This event is not sponsored by the town, but may be attended by Salem public officials, as well as public officials from surrounding communities and Kenosha County.
