Trevor-Wilmot School holds first annual art showcase

Trevor-Wilmot School hosted its first annual art showcase “Night with the Arts” Tuesday evening.

The walls in the halls of the entire school were turned into a showcase of multiple examples of art, which all were juried by a panel of judges.

Bill Wald explained that the school will still participate in the Kenosha County Fair “but having our own art show also makes it possible for us to recognize more students for their hard work and experience than ever before, and allows even more students to receive recognition in front of their peers and the community. ”

While each work ws judged and was awarded a ribbon, here are the special award recipients:

  • Grades k-2 best in show: J.D. Hansen
  • Grades 3-5 best in show: Madison Zerr.
  • Grades 6-8 best in show: Libby Ozog.
  • Grade K best in class: Cali Loveless.
  • Grade 1 best in class: Delaney Koltanowski.
  • Grade 2 best in class: Allyson Biel.
  • Grade 3 best in class: Erin Hansen.
  • Grade 4 best in class: Julianna Marsch.
  • Grade 5 best in class: Madison Zerr.
  • Grade 6 best in class: Chloe Davis.
  • Grade 7 best in class: Tie between Kayln Harewood and Adam Sanchez.
  • Grade 8 best in class; Libby Ozog.
  • 3-D best in class: Brad Eidson.
