A benefit in honor of George Schroeder will be hosted by Powers Lake Sportsman Club Saturday May 12 noon to 6 p.m.
George died away April 2, 2012. He was an avid sportsman and member of the Powers Lake Sportsman’s Club, the Silver Lake Sportsman’s Club, Son of the American Legion, Twin Lakes Post #544 and the Wisconsin Bass Caster’s Assoc. He was active in the Boy Scouts and ABATE. He is survived by his wife, Debra; daughter Missi (Michael) Smith of Trevor, WI; 3 sons, D.C. Schroeder of Trevor and Jason and Joshua Schroeder of Wheatland.
The sportsman club is located at 38700 87th St. (Highway F), Powers Lake.
There will be a pig roast/lunch buffet, music, tons of raffles, 50/50 raffle, trap shooting and much more. 100% of the proceeds will go to the family.
Donation is $10 per person; $5 for ages 6to 10, 5 and under free.
