For the second time this week, law enforcement in Kenosha County was involved today in a high-speed pursuit.
The chase today originated in Milwaukee County before moving to Racine County and eventually Kenosha County.
Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sgt. Bill Beth issued the following statement regarding today’s incident:
Today a police pursuit entered Kenosha County on I -94 EB (southbound) at approximately 1042 hrs and terminated in Kenosha County on I-94 EB North of CTH C at approximately 1054 hrs. Wisconsin State Patrol was in pursuit of the vehicle when it came into Kenosha County. Wisconsin State Patrol deployed the spike strips that successfully disabled the vehicle and Wisconsin State Patrol took custody of the suspects and removed them from Kenosha County. The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department did have squads involved in the pursuit and did assist in taking the individuals into custody. Our deputies will be completing an Assist Agency report.”

Tuesday, Kenosha Police, Kenosha County Sheriff’s deputies, Pleasant Prairie Police and State Patrol were involved in chasing a suspect twice before he eventually crashed his truck, abandoned the vehicle and then was captured with the help of a police helicopter.
