The Silver Lake American Legion and the Silver Lake Citizens for Growth will be hosting a dance and music jam from 2 to 5 p.m.Sunday, April 29, with a cost of $5 per person.
The American Legion will have food and beverages for purchase.
These events are open for everyone ages 20+ to attend. Come out and meet your neighbors and have fun doing it. The first “session†will have a small core band and other individuals can come and play with them. So maybe Uncle Henry can play the guitar, Cousin Ernie can play trumpet, and Aunt Ruth plays keyboard, this is the time for you to come and show off your talents and have fun. Bring the family and all the cousins and enjoy a Sunday afternoon in Silver Lake.
The second set will feature some of the members of the band “Still Kickin’ JB (Just Barely).”
All neighboring communties are invited to come and have fun.
I think it’s sad that these events are only for those 20 and over. my son would enjoy participating in something like this, but he’s in high school.
would welcome any and all ideas you have. Just contact them directly and work with them…. These only represent a fraction of the things that they are doing….
Contact them… Dont know how? Get contacts from the Village Hall at Silver Lake. If you dont get contact right off from them, then Those at the American Legion surely will have at least one contact for you to try….
Join in! Support the Citizens for Growth in Silver Lake…. Be part of the Effort.
