Allowed park activities will include:
- Hiking.
- Catch & Release Fishing.
- Leashed Dog-Walking (The Warren Close Bark Park, an off-leash dog park offered nearby) .
- Picnicking.
- Snowshoeing.
- Cross Country.
- Skiing when weather permits.
Activities not allowed at this time are canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, campfires, horseback riding, model rockets, camping and other activities. Additional activities may be considered by permit by request to General Manager of Park Operations Jonathan Rudie. For more information, contact Rudie at 262-857-1869.
A friend was there opening day. Her and daughter walked the trails. The ticks are on steroids. When they got back to their car they were covered.
But they did have fun.
