Weather update: Storms still forecast for tonight

Graphic by Agata Urbaniak

A strong chance of thunderstorms, perhaps severe, is still in the forecast for the area tonight.

After that, Tuesday is the only day free of a chance of rain through Thursday in the National Weather Service forecast.

UPDATE 3:04 p.m. — The National Weather Service office in Sullivan is reporting that a strong thunderstorm is moving into the Milwaukee area. As it is traveling northeast, it looks like most or all of it may miss us, however.

UPDATE 8:54 p.m. — Rain started in Paddock Lake about 8:40 p.m., followed by thunder and lightning at about 8:50 p.m. Current radar looks like we will be under siege for awhile.

UPDATE 9:26 p.m. — Twin Lakes police officer reports that water has built up on road between Manny’s Snack Shack and Pier West.
