At 8:57 p.m., Town of Wheatland Fire and Rescue and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a tree on fire in the 5200 block of Highway 83 (north), Wheatland.
Dispatch reports that tree is about 50 feet from a home at the site.
UPDATE 9:01 p.m. — Deputy out at the scene and investigating. Has found a person with a garden house extinguishing fire, which appears to be out.
