The Benefit for Ben on April 14, from 4 to 10 p.m. at Rumpoles, 352 E. Main St., Twin Lakes will help the family of Ben Beranis meet mounting medical bills.
Ben, 3 years old, has a rare medical condition that doctors at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin are treating and trying to diagnose.
Since birth, Ben has required frequent blood transfusions and his bone marrow is not making red blood cells, requiring a marrow transplant. He has a failing liver and is a candidate for a liver transplant as well.
At the benefit, a buffet dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m., and will include mostaccioli, Italian beef, tossed salad, garlic bread and various other snacks. Cost is $10 per person. A cash bar will be available.
There also will be raffles, a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle.
