Starting at about 9:10 a.m., a sheriff’s deputy is investigating a report that the railroad crossing gates on Highway C in Trevor are malfunctioning.
UPDATE about 9:15 a.m. — A Silver Lake Police office reports to dispatch that a crew working on the railroad there does not believe the Highway C malfunction is related.
UPDATE 9:42 a.m. — Deputy reports gates back up. He will monitor for a while.
