Congratulations to Dennis Faber for being one of the top two winners for this race.
Your public stance to protect the taxpayers is appreciated. You have truly worked hard to Make Salem Better.
I personally applaud you and all of the Salem Town Board Members who voted against village status for Salem at this time. You and your colleagues did this community right by respecting the citizens’ wishes to avoid incorporation at this time.
In this economic crisis only self-serving interests would promote incorporation for Salem.
The day will come when village status for Salem might be the right move. That day is still far away.
Good luck in your further service to the citizens of Salem.
My congratulations also extrend to any victor who respects the wishes of the people who voted against even exploring village status at this time; and who want to protect the taxpayers as Dennis Faber does.
Thank you.
