At about 3:40 p.m., Town of Wheatland Fire Department, Randall Fire Department and Twin Lakes Rescure along with sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a fire in a house in the 32800 block of Geneva Road (Highway 50), Wheatland.
Dispatch says person reporting fire said it started with a heating pad. Flames seen.
UPDATE 3:52 p.m. – Silver Lake Fire Department called for mutual aid with an engine and a tanker.
UPDATE 4:19 p.m. — Twin Lakes Fire Department dispatched for mutual aid with a squad and manpower.
UPDATE 4:30 p.m. — Silver Lake Rescue requested to send an ambulance, non-emergency, to the scene.
