At about 7:09 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a grass fire in the 30500 block of Highway C, Wilmot.
UPDATE 7:10 p.m. — Dispatch says fire is on the south side of the road, across from the Wilmot Fire Station.
UPDATE 7:11 p.m. — Deputy on scene says fire units will have to access the fire via the road along the east side of the Fox River that goes down to where the Wilmot Dam used to be.
UPDATE 7:27 p.m. — Fire personnel report to dispatch that fire is out.
