After an all-day light drizzle the rain started picking up about 2:15 p.m. and turned to a slushy rain about 2:35 p.m. That changed to snow about 2:45 p.m.
At least three crashes were reported on I-94 in Kenosha County between about 2:35 and 2:50 p.m.
A National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning is still in effect until 9 p.m.
UPDATE 3:20 p.m. — Flash of lightning and thunder clap in Paddock Lake.
UPDATE 3:21 p.m. — 248th Avenue starting to collect snow.
UPDATE 4:20 p.m. — About 1 inch of snow accumulated at westofthei.com headquarters since about 2:35 p.m. Here’s some video of the snow fall at that time:

UPDATE 9:06 p.m. — National Weather Service lets Winter Storm Warning expire at 9 p.m.
UPDATE 9:15 p.m. — Measuring an additional.25 of an inch here. That’s a total of 3.75.
