Joshua Michael Barrigar, 31, of Genoa City, the man arrested in connection with a bank robbery in Twin Lakes on Feb. 6 and with another bank robbery in Lake Geneva on Feb. 10, has been charged in Walworth County and has had charges filed in Kenosha County.
In connection with the Lake Geneva case, Barrigar faces felony charges of armed robbery and robbery with threat of force.
Barrigar has not appeared in court in Kenosha County yet, but a felony charge of robbery of a financial institution has been filed.
Police said Barrigar walked into the M&I Bank branch on North Lake Avenue in Twin Lakes at about 3:49 p.m. Feb. 6. He handed a note to a teller demanding money. The teller complied by giving the man an undetermined amount of money. The subject fled on foot to the south of the bank. No weapon was displayed. Police responded immediately to a hold-up alarm received at 3:52 p.m., just after the man left the bank.
