Artwork from selected Salem School students is on exhibit this month at the Community Library.
We took the occasion of Thursday’s opening celebration to get some photos of some of the artwork. Thursday’s opening was for the fourth through eighth grade works. Lat week an opening was held for the kindergarten through third grade projects.
The off school premises art show was the brainchild of Christina Schatmeyer, Salem art teacher. She originated the idea last year as a way to recognize students outstanding artistic efforts and achievements as well as display their work in a community setting.
