Units responding for burning smell

At 9:54 p.m., units from Salem Fire/Rescue and sheriff’s deputies are responding to the 23300 block of 112th Street, Salem, for a report of a burning smell in a house.

Dispatch reports that homeowner smells a burnt rubber smell and the air looks hazy, but can’t locate a source of the smell.

UPDATE 9:58 p.m.– First unit on scene reports no signs of fire showing from outside.

UPDATE 10:01 p.m. — Fire department on scene now, a deputy reports.
