Units responding to report of crash in Brighton

At 1:30 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a crash in about the 2600 block of Highway X, Brighton.

A white pick-up truck is involved. It reportedly left the roadway and hit a tree. Driver is out of the truck and conscious and breathing but  “a little banged up,” dispatch reports.

UPDATE 1:37 p.m. — Deputy on scene reports bed “torn off” the vehicle.
