Bristol Fire Department firefighters and sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a barn fire late Wednesday night.
The barn was located in the 12200 block of 136th Ave., Bristol. The report of the fire was received at about 10:30 p.m.
The pole barn housed a snowmobile, a motorcycle, tools and welding equipment. The welding equipment had been used earlier in the day to fix a snowmobile trailer and a wood burner also used at that time, according to a Sheriff’s Department report. Two campers parked along side the barn were “burnt completely” and another damaged.
Firefighters extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire was undetermined at the time of the report’s writing, but did not appear to be suspicious.
Power in the area was out for a time, but restored by We Energies.
You guys forgot to mention Pleasent Prairie, Antioch Fire and Newport Fire also Responded to the scene. I believe the call was for Pleasent Prairie, Bristol was mutual aid.
