At 10:48 a.m., units from Salem Fire/Rescue and Silver Lake Rescue are responding to a report of a grass fire in the 6500 block of 288th Avenue, along the Salem-Brighton border.
UPDATE 10:52 a.m. — Dispatch advises responding deputy that was a controlled burn, but may be getting out of hand.
UPDATE 10:55 a.m. — Fire units now responding non-emergency. Silver Lake Rescue diverted to medical call in Wilmot.
UPDATE 10:57 a.m. — Fire personnel on scene say fire is out.
