At 4:20 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a crash in a parking lot in the 9200 block of Antioch Road (Highway 83), Salem.
Dispatch reports that two vehicles are involved and a pole is down.
UPDATE 4:22 p.m. — Deputy reports that power appears to be out along Highway 83, including the traffic signal at Highway AH. Pole is in parking lot on the east side of the road and has snapped off, deputy reports. Wire reportedly across road.
UPDATE about 4:45 p.m. — Karen just came through area and reports that it looks like power may be out as far north as Hartnell Chevrolet. Traffic signal at Highway 50 was working.
UPDATE 6 p.m. — Deputy reports that power is restored to the north of the scene.

My wife and I are having a nice candle light dinner of pretzels and canned cheese. Hope no one got hurt though.
