At 4:53 p.m., Bristol Fire and Rescue and a sheriff’s deputy are responding to a report of a wire down on a tree branch and smoking near the 196th Avenue and 101st Street intersection, Bristol.
UPDATE 5:02 p.m. — Deputy on scene reports that the wire is “sparking pretty decent” and firefighters are arriving on the scene now. We Energies crew also on the way.
UPDATE 5:45 p.m. — We Energies has fixed problem. Deputy leaving scene.
