At about 10:25 a.m., Salem Fire/Rescue units are responding to Silver Lake County Park. Dispatch said it was for a person who was not conscious and not breathing.
A little later the Wilmot station was toned out to respond with its ATV.
UPDATE 11:07 a.m. — Medical examiner responding to the scene.
UPDATE 1:14 p.m. — From Sgt. Doug Bourdo, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department: On 12-24-11 at 10:19 AM Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department was notified that a body was found in Silver Lake Park. A female member of the search party called in via her cell phone on behalf of a man who had discovered the body. It was determined to be that of missing person Roger Baker. Baker was found in a densely wooded portion of the park, well away from any trails, about a half mile northeast of the parks beach area. Deputies who were on scene were also notified. Sheriff’s Detectives and the Medical Examiner were called to the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office took custody of the body. No foul play is suspected at this time. About 40 volunteers participated in the searching today.
