Wilmot United Methodist Church will host its annual Christmas Drama at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18.
Afterwards there will be a fellowship.
The drama is is titled “Everybody Loves Joseph,” and is based on the television show “Everybody Loves Raymond.” It was written by Keith Hewitt and directed by Rachel Hewitt. The cast are are Wilmot UMC members.
The drama that tells the story of the birth narrative of Jesus Christ while adding humor of a contemporary show.
“It is going to be a fun, exciting and a different perspective on how the story of Jesus’ birth is told,” Pastor Dan Verdegan said.
We have been doing Keith Hewitt’s plays for two years now.I love them,and I want to encourage him to keep writingthem.Our church family loves them,but more importantly we have been able to get people from the community in.Sharing God’s word with many is a joy.My characters are some of the funniest people I know.Thanks again,and if you are ever in new York come and visit our church.Thanks again.Robin Miller ,director of spirited players
