Community Baptist Church in Silver Lake is presenting the first annual “Lighting of the Gazebo” on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m.
Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided by Scully’s Silver Lake Grill and sponsored by People’s Bank in Silver Lake.
The coloring contest awards will be presented to the Pre-K through 5th grade students from Riverview School. An inflatable Santa, donated by Silver Lake Inflatables, will be raffled off that night for $5 a ticket.
The gazebo is located at Schmalfeldt Park along Railroad Street at Wisconsin Avenue.
