“Jingle Bell Walk” benefiting Imagine Kenosha Learning Center & Toys for Tots will take place Saturday, Dec. 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. at  Bristol Grade School.

The sounds of bells will ring through the air as kids and adults alike tie jingle bells to their sneakers and join in IK’s Jingle Bell Walk, to be held in the school gym. This is a fun and festive way to help support youth in the Western Kenosha County community.

The event will feature Santa Claus; hot chocolate, coffee, and baked goods; an ornament decorating station; a Christmas picture coloring station; and lots of holiday music for all to enjoy. Each participant is asked to raise at least $20 in pledges and bring one new, unwrapped toy to the event. Financial proceeds will go to Imagine Kenosha Learning Center, and the toys will go to the Toys for Tots Program. Please bring the pledges and the toys to the registration table on the day of the walk. Bells and beverages will be provided for each walker.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The mission of IK Learning Center is to extend and support learning beyond the school day via an out-of-school time homework, tutoring and enrichment program. No child is ever turned away based on inability to pay, and all tuition fees and donations go back into operation of the program. Learn more about this program at www.imaginekenosha.com.

If you or your child would like to participate, please contact Imagine Kenosha at 262-891-3114 to be included on the roster, then bring the completed registration form on the day of the event.20
