Kmiec sworn in as Salem supervisor

Theodore B. Kmiec III was formally appointed to the Salem Town Board and sworn in at the start of Monday’s regular Town Board meeting.

Here is some video of the ceremony (sorry about the shaky start and the low sound level):

Kmiec will fill the seat formerly held by Joseph Meier, who died in September. Kmiec will serve until April, when a replacement for the remainder of the term — which expires in April of 2013 — will be elected.
