Group offering help with Thanksgiving meal for those in need

In these tough economic times, could you use some help putting a Thanksgiving meal on the table?

If you’re answer is yes, a coalition of area churches, businesses, Central and Wilmot high schools and other groups and individuals stand ready to help.

The groups have been collecting food for the holiday meal that they plan to distrubute this weekend. If you would like to be a food recipient, contact Westosha Lakes Church in Paddock Lake at  843-1948 or by email at assistant@westoshalakeschurch.org.

Considerable measures are taken to make the program as anonymous as possible for recipients, said Scott Sobczak, a representative of the program.

Sponsors of this year’s program are: Promiseland Family Restaurant; Westosha Floral; Paddock Lake Subway; Parrish & Freitag, LTD; Midwest Dental – H.
