Pringle Nature Center, 9800 160th Ave. (Highway MB), Bristol will be having a Leave No Child Inside: Teacher’s Convention Day Camp on Thursday, Oct. 27 and Friday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
Instead of having your kids cooped up all day, send them to Pringle where there will be day long activities out in nature for them.
On Oct. 27, children will get ready for winter like the animals do. Forage for food and build shelters in the woods. Children will go home with simple bird feeders to help animals around their own home survive the winter.
On Oct. 28, children will learn what is lurking out in the nature center’s woods and discover not all that’s in the woods is scary.
Children should bring a bag lunch and be dressed appropriately for the weather.
