Twin Lakes board football loyalties on display at meeting

Voters can take a lot of different factors into consideration when deciding whether to support a given public official come election time.

How about NFL football team allegiance?

Well we don’t know if that’s something you consider mandatory, but knowing how divided loyalties are in Kenosha County we felt it our duty to pass on what we observed at Monday’s Village Board meeting.

Coming off a big weekend of impressive victories for both teams three board members were proudly wearing team colors at Monday night’s regular board meeting.

  • Village President Howard Skinner was wearing a no. 12 Green Bay Packers jersey and a Super Bowl champions cap.
  • Trustee Thomas Connolly was wearing a Chicago Bears sweatshirt.
  • Trustee Jeremy Knoll was wearing a Bears no. 6 jersey.
  • Village Clerk/Treasurer Kathleen Richardson (her position is appointed)  also was sporting a no. 54 Bears jersey.

So there you have it. Use the information as you will.
