Wheatland Center School’s 4K program held its first Family Fun Day for the year on Oct. 3 . The theme was Halloween Fun.
The children enjoyed making their own pumpkin cupcake, decorating mini-pumpkins, making Halloween magnets, playing Halloween BINGO (complete with Candy Corn BINGO markers), games and reading Halloween-themed books.
The Family Fun Day was well attended by several students and their parents and grandparents. Teacher Sara Graham is looking forward to planning the next Family Fun Day, which will be held in November.
This is the third year that Graham has planned and hosted Family Fun Days for her classes.
