The Sharing Center is seeking sponsors to help with the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner baskets programs.
Sponsors are asked to provide all the necessary and, not so necessary, food items for complete Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. In addition, at Christmas time gifts will be given to all children 18 and under.
Sponsors may call or stop in to the Sharing Center to sign up to adopt-a-family for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. Drop off of Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners along with gifts for kids takes place from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church-Wilmot, on Saturday, Nov. 19, and Saturday, Dec. 17 respectively.
Sharing Clients, who are in need of Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner baskets, may sign up at the Sharing Center in Paddock Lake, on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m, until the Friday, Nov. 4 deadline. Thanksgiving pickup is scheduled at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wilmot (intersection of Highways C and B) on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m, while Christmas pickup is Saturday, Dec. 17 , at the same place and time.
