The Bristol Grade School PTA a Walk-A-Thon will step off Oct. 1 from noon to 4 p.m. at the school.
Additional activities will include a silent auction, raffle, food being provided by local businesses, Buggy Whip petting zoo and inflatable jumps.
Silent auction and raffle prizes include:
- Mint condition 100th anniversary Daytona booklet.
- 6 yard dumpster from John’s Disposal Service.
- Four tickets and Sprint Fan Zone access for the Feb. 24, 2012 NextEra Energy Resources 250 Truck race.
- Free year membership to Bristol Shooting Range (CCKC).
- 24 die cast cars from Daytona.
- A painting and personal session from local artist Erik R Sosa-Kibby.
- Children’s two-part art lesson for a canvas painting from local artist Beth Cumbo.
- One afterschool for one child forone school year from Imagine Kenosha.
- Two lifetime car wash passes from Honda.
- A gift cert for a Furnace or A/C cleaning from Grubbs Mechanical.
One hundred percent of proceeds go to benefit Bristol School students and their needs.
