A crash Tuesday morning at Highway C and MB in Bristol resulted in two drivers being transported by ambulance for medical treatment and one being ticketed.
According to a Sheriff’s Department report on the crash, at about 7:20 a.m. a vehicle traveling westbound on Highway C failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle eastbound on the road. The westbound vehicle turned left in front of the eastbound vehicle. The cars struck each other after the eastbound vehicle attempted to stop and skidded. The vehicles ended up in the ditch west and north of the intersection with “severe” damage to both vehicles.
The driver of the westbound vehicle was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way while making a left turn, the report said.
