At 10:15 a.m., units from the Sheriff’s Department, Town of Wheatland Fire Department and Twin Lakes Rescue are responding to a report of a crash with injuries in the 37600 block of Highway 50, Wheatland.
One vehicle is in the ditch. Deputy reporting three or four injuries. Some people may be trapped in vehicles.
UPDATE 10:25 a.m. — Silver Lake Rescue being called for mutual aid.
UPDATE 10:41 p.m. — Emergency personnel still working on getting people out of at least one vehicle, deputy on scene reports to dispatch.
