At about 10 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a fire in a house. I have not head the address yet, but deputies reaching the scene said there is heavy smoke coming from windows and something that looks like flame can be seen through a basement window.
UPDATE 10:10 p.m. — A clue as to location. Tanker trucks are staging in 5800 block of 268th Ave.
