The Western Kenosha County Panthers took second place in the Special Olympics State softball tournament bringing home silver medals for the whole team.
The tournament was held in Eau Claire last weekend. They went 2-1 in the tournament, which had teams through out the state.
The event started with arrival on Friday, Aug. 5 and ended on Sunday, Aug. 7. The event also included a Hawaiian style dance on the Aug. 6 for all the athletes.
