The Sharing Center to host Luau

A temporary picnic license was approved by the Salem Town Board to The Sharing Center Monday night to host their annual charity event. On September 18, the Center will host an Aloha “Super Luau” at the Kenosha County Fairgrounds in Wilmot, to support the ongoing operations of the organization.

The luau will feature the Hale O’Malo Polynesian Revue, Wisconsin’s only Hawaiian-owed and operated fully self-contained Polynesian production company. The Ohana family has successfully served the community since 1997.

The luau begins at 3:30 pm with a Keiki Program, a 5:30 pm Super luau, and a 7:00 pm Polynesian show. Entertainment will feature authentic songs, costumes and dances as the company demonstrates a variety of cultures of various islands, including Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji.

Ticket prices will be $35 for adults, $20 for children, as well as family and table packages. A table to sponsor four seniors or veterans will be $100 and will enable those to attend, but are financially unable to do so. For more information on tickets or sponsoring a table, contact 262-997-0783.
