Have you been wanting to get a look at the new Trevor Fire Station/Salem Highway Department building?
If so, then you will get your chance this weekend. The town will host an open house at the facility, 11252 254th Court, on Sunday Aug. 7 from noon to 4 p.m.
A dedication ceremony for the facility will be kick off the activities at noon.
Firefighters waterfights will begin at 1 p.m.
Also at the open house will be kids’ games, a realistic smokehouse, bouncy houses and food and beverages.
The $10 million building was designed to provide new, state-of-the-art quarters for the Highway Department and the Trevor Fire Station. The building began to be used in January.
