The beach at Lilly Lake has been placed back on advisory status by the town, Wheatland town Clerk Sheila Siegler reports.
The watertest taken yesterday came back at 291 cfu/100mls. A test from the day before was over 1,000 cfu/100mls, prompting the closing of the beach Wednesday.
Guidelines during an advisory include:“Swim at your own risk. Do not ingest lake water. Shower after swimming. Wash hands before eating. Do not swim if you are ill.â€
Another test was done today. Results will be available tomorrow, Aug. 5.
