At 7:58 p.m., Salem Fire/Rescue is responding to a report of smoking wires in the 6100 block of 242nd Avenue, Paddock Lake.
Dispatch reports that wires are about 10 feet from a garage.
UPDATE 8:01 p.m. — Dispatch reports to responding units that tree came down on wires and the caller reporting incident does see flames.
UPDATE 8:02 p.m. — Deputy and We Energies on scene.
UPDATE 8:09 p.m. — One fire department unit clearing scene and returning to quarters.
